This magnificent house features a wood burning stove in the living room available to all guests. The lobby serves as an art gallery with numerous original local artists' works and is ideal for relaxing in front of the fire on cool nights. There is FREE unlimited use of high speed internet 24/7 where you may check your email or connect with your laptop. Wi-fi is available in all accommodations for your additional comfort and privacy. A wonderful lanai wraps around the side of the house and is equipped with a hammock to capture the afternoon sun at your leisure.

There are only four rooms within this 5000' square foot structure all with private entrances offering a tremendous amount of privacy. The ground floor bedrooms are the Aloha Room (click here for more details) and the Birds of Paradise Room (click here for more details). The upstairs bedrooms are the Honu Room (click here for more details) and the Lei Room (click here for more details). The breakfast room is located upstairs on the same level as the lobby where you will enjoy your gourmet breakfast served daily from 7am-9am. We ask only two things from our house guests and that is to please remove your shoes before entering our "hale" (home) and to refrain from smoking (all accommodations are non-smoking). Although we do have two cats (Roo Roo and Tigger) they are only permitted in our private quarters.

   Our most recent acquisition has been painstakingly restored to its original charm. Originally built in 1928 this "non-hosted" Plantation Style home has all the modern conveniences. Upon entering please note the two inch thick Red Oak eighteen foot full length boards which comprise the flooring throughout the library and foyer. The cut boards appear upstairs in the bedrooms. Treasured antique furnishings are throughout the entire household.

    The pride of the house is our **library** where you can spend endless hours perusing the priceless collection of books. The **library** also offers over 500 video titles and a variety of board games. Free high speed internet service is available in the lobby at the same location as the office. Due to our expansive lawn we also offer the use of our badminton set and croquet, weather permitting. In the evening we invite you to enjoy the peaceful surroundings with your favorite find in front of glowing embers from our **lava rock** fireplace.   Oftentimes, due to the mists of Volcano, this extra warmth even in summer is most appreciated. Original works of art can be found throughout the house and several prized antiquities await your discovery.

   All three bedrooms with private full baths are located on the second floor. The **Bamboo Room (click here for more details)** is best suited for singles or when separate beds are requested and is comprised of two twin beds. The **Ali'i Room** **(click here for more details)** is a spacious accommodation which is filled throughout the entire day with bright sunshine. This room is reserved for royalty and has a queen bed. The **Paniolo Room (click here for more details)** is actually two rooms which were combined for those who desire that extra amount of space. Caution is required however, there are several Paniolo or Hawaiian cowboy relics within these doors, so you had better be in the "cowboy frame of mind". The antique double bed will take you back in time as you dream about the old days of roping and riding in Hawaii. In addition to the double bed there is a Pune'e (Hawaiian twin bed) and a desk as well. Also located at the Guest House at Pali Uli is the **Sushi Guest Cottage (click here for more details)** a studio kitchenette with queen bed and queen sleep sofa in addition to a private lanai complete with a BBQ and outdoor furnishings.
